So what is a " Sun - Toned" coin?!?!
Our coins are beautifully toned by the majestic power of the Sun, exposed to the elements and UV rays in a garden greenhouse! Many variables such as humidity, temperature, length of exposure, coin condition, etc. are what determines how the coin will look; making each one unique! Mother nature is allowed to do her work and no human intervention other than placing them in the greenhouse is taken. This process is similar to the "Windowsill" method that is popular with old-timers, and is in a grey area between " artificially toned" and "natural toned" coins. Because of this unfortunate stigma on such beautiful coins in the numismatic community, Our toned coins are sold for their artistic beauty and precious metals content and not solely based on numismatic value.
