Description

Beautifully struck coin. Coin exhibits slightly weaker strike between noon and 2 o'clock as most do, specifically on parts of the hair and star, and is not to be considered as wear.  It should not be mistaken that Liberty has a doubled-die profile as this is just the lighting and/or a reflection anomoly in the photo caused by camera angle.  It does not have a doubled profile. The die marriage is attributed to the Newcomb-5 variety. It is in our best an honest opinion that the condition of this coin is Very Near Gem+ Brown. Simply take a look and compare to GEM graded examples on the PCGS Coinfacts website.
