1854 J-160 Pattern Braided Hair 1C
PCGS / CAC PF63BN
A beautiful, totally original, choice uncirculated piece with dark chocolate brown and gunmetal patina surrounding sharply struck devices. A rare pattern Large Cent of slightly reduced size to the circulating issue. Strong for the grade and an easy CAC sticker. A few scuff are noted on this old style slab, which show up as white clouds and lines in the pictures.
CAC, or Certified Acceptance Corporation, green-stickers only coins that are solid or high-end for their assigned PCGS/NGC grades. CAC will gold-sticker PCGS/NGC coins they believe to be under-graded outright.
