    AMERICAN CHARACTER Sweet Sue 24" Walking Doll Moving Head
    This listing includes doll, original dress, apron. and bloomers. Clothing does not look new, but has been laundered and presssed. Elastic on bloomers is stretched out. Clothing has fray. Hair has been washed and can be combed, and doll is very clean, but does have a vintage odor. There is minimal graying and spotting, and a little discoloration on body of doll.
    Eyes open and close well. Eyelashes are not in perfect condition, but look pretty good. See pictures. Doll has "walking"  mechanism. When legs are walked, head turns back and forth. Doll can be carefully changed to sitting position. The material of the doll body is like a cross between plastic and wood. I am told it is called composition, and it appears to be from the 50's.
