    Our furnace went through two or three ignitors in just a few years through the 1990s, and each time it was a hassle to find a distributor on short order on those cold and dark days when it happened. Amazon mostly sold only books.
    We decided to get this ignitor before another ignitor went out again. It must have been a good luck charm as this box hasn't been opened since Dec 2000. Our furnace was replaced recently after 33 years of service with the same ignitor for the last 20 years, so we no longer need this ignitor. May it be a good luck charm to you too.
