This precision spring kit is the definitive answer to repairing your Mac Pro 4,1 and 5,1 Northbridge heat sink broken rivets. You should replace the Northbridge rivets even if they did not snap off yet - it's just a matter of time before the cheap plastic rivets will become brittle from the high heat produced and fail.
