Up for auction is the most beautiful reproduction of an Andre Thuillier, french doll, by renowned doll artist, Mary Lambeth.
Her bisque head is pale in color with stunning, blue paperweight eyes, feathered brown eyebrows and her closed mouth has peach lips. She has soft, peachy blush on her cheeks. Her quality, wheat blonde, long, curly mohair wig and is faintly signed by Wendy Feidt. This doll has pierced ears with gold colored bead earrings and a pearl necklace.
Mary Lambeth is not only known for her beautiful dolls but also for her exquisite doll clothing, which she makes. This costume is truly AMAZING! It is a soft peach and taupe silk, drop waist, tiered and pleated dress with white, pearled buttons and antique lace and trim. She wears a matching bonnet decorated with flowers and ribbons. Ms. Lambeth's attention to detail is shown in every detail of this pretty doll. Not only is the exterior of her bonnet stunning, but so is the interior of her bonnet. Under her dress is a lace trimmed slip and pantaloons. She wears ivory colored socks and silk taupe shoes with florets.
This doll is GORGEOUS! A wonderful addition to your collection!

Condition: The pink bow on her dress has faded, and there are a few tiny stains on the front of her jacket and tiny discolorations on the interior of her bonnet . The ribbon that ties her bonnet is very fragile and if you choose to remove the hat - better to slide it off instead of untying and retying the ribbons, as that could cause them to break. Everything else is in excellent condition!
The stand is included with this doll.
