    Description

    This listing is for (2) rolls of premium OXYGEN SAFE thread sealant. Only green tinted thread sealant is nonflammable in the presence of high purity oxygen. Standard white teflon tape can ignite when used in an oxygen application. Many Fire and Building inspectors require the use of green thread tape on oxygen installations as verification that it meets flammability code requirements. This premium grade tape is 3.5 mil thick. with a density of 1.2g/cm3 as required for high pressure applications. Each roll is 1/2" wide and 260" long. That is over 21 feet long per roll; enough for dozens of fittings. This thread is specially made for use in oxygen environments but may be used anywhere standard white teflon tape is used on gases and liquids. It is OSHA compliant and meets military specifications. When installing leave edge exposed so inspector can verify the proper sealant was used.
