Stunning 18” Kestner 168 Reproduction by Doll Artist Marian Fasan of Toronto, Canada! Fine Bisque Head with delicate features. Fixed glass eyes, pierced ears ( one earring is missing) long blonde human hair wig, four porcelain teeth, and french style (the Kestner 168 mold doll was also sold on the french market) wood and composition body, all in original vintage condition. She comes dressed in her original navy blue and white cotton lawn sailor suit with adorable cotton slip, camisole, knickers and socks. Her shoes are patent leather.
Marian Fasan was a famous Canadian Doll Artist who had a doll shop and studio in Toronto. This doll is signed and dated on the back of her head. The last photo is of her with one of her dolls from the archives of the Toronto Public Library.
