talk about a masterpiece!
D E S C R I P T I O N
. vintage 1960s Mary Poppins area rug
. no makers mark but I would believe this is Walt Disney
. so much detail was put into this creation and while researching this particular design, there are some really fantastic ones out there...but this one is very scarce!
. featuring everyones favorite nanny, Mary Poppins and some of her animal kingdom friends surrounding her
. pink / mauve background
. bring on both sides (although some is missing)
. i particularly like the atomic starburst throughout it
. there is a rug cleaning tag on it dated 10/3/97
. perfect to use on the floor or suspend on the wall!
. and as anyone would suggest, PERFECT for Disney collectors anywhere!

. in great vintage condition
. for its age, it's in ideal condition but definitely not new
. fringe is missing in small sections on both sides
. some small spots / stains throughout consistent with actual use and age
