Vintage 1961 Walt Disney Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck Ceramic Mugs

Description

Offered for sale are two mugs representing early depictions of Walt Disney Productions Mickey Mouse and Donald Duck.  Research indicates that they date from 1961 and are in great condition for their advanced age.  Both pieces have fine crazing visible on the outsides and insides of the mugs but is not visible on the dimensional painted figures.   They both measure 3-1/2" H with a diameter of 3 inches not including the handles.  The bottoms are marked Walt Disney Productions which make them genuine Disney souvenirs.  It is obvious that they are an older design as we have all watched these characters morph over the years.
Although they have a fine crazing and some discoloration to the white surface, they have no chips, cracks or hairlines.  They would make a fine addition to any Disney collection.
