Vintage Porcelain Green & White BONSAI TREE Lidded BOX. 5" L x  3 3/4" W x  2" Tall, possibly made in Germany (the markings seem evident).
This jewelry/trinket box is a mystery, I cannot find this one. It seems like a beautiful Bonsai Tree (in white paint & incredible textured leaves). However, the only writing is on the bottom reading number #1973. The details of the leaves and the beautiful translucent painting of the branches almost ghost-like, really exquisite.
Definitely came from a home from the 1940's this incredible home had not been redecorated since the original build and this is one of the most wonderful old mansions here in Austin.
Estate Sale find. Condition is Used in good shape showing wear & crazing as expected with age. No chips or cracks, Lovely and a good find.
