    Description

    Description
A fun, whimsical, and nostalgic partial set of children’s three little pigs tea set that was made for Disney in the 1940’s.
A molded ceramic child’s tea set with a cup, four saucers, two plates, a sugar bowl with lid, a creamer, and a teapot with lid (10 pc total). They have an off white glaze and have been decorated with three little pig transfers. They have blue line transfers around the mouths and handles. The foot rings are shallow and rounded. The large plates have the following words “ I BUILD MY HOUSE OF STONES, I BUILD MY HOUSE OF BRICKS, I HAVE NO TIME TO SING OR DANCE, FOR WORK AND PLAY DON’T MIX’’ around the well. My favorite though is the “Wolf Proof Paint” the pig building the brick house is using.
They have two marks on the bases. One mark reads; S.C. PATRIOT CHINA MADE IN AMERICA MFGD. BY PERMISSION WALT DISNEY ENTERPRISES. The other mark reads; S.C. CO. #10108 Mf’d by Permission WALT DISNEY ENTERPRISES. They also show a Walt Disney transfer signature on the plate transfer designs.
