    Walt Disney Hand Written Instructions re PETER PAN 1952 2005 Animation Notes
    Collectible Walt Disney Studio Auctions by Saturday's Toys presents...
    an authorized facsimile re-creation of Walt Disney's personal hand-written story notes for "Peter Pan"
    Recreated in facsimile form and authorized by the Walt Disney Company / Walt Disney Archives in 2005.
    As originally written by Walt himself in the years immediately prior to production of the feature-length animated film.  Here, Walt gives specific direction to be followed in the development of the story. (also includes scene later dropped from the final film)
    As the project had been in development for several years it is somewhat of a challenge to specifically date his notes, but they are believed to be from 1950 - 1951 when the film was about to get the green light for immediate development.  The film was released to theaters on February 5, 1953.
    Facsimile pages reflect text written in Walt's own hand;
    ideal for autograph experts in maintaining samples of Walt's known handwriting for authenticating similar documents.
    4.75" x 7.75"; 5 pages; as originally written on ledger paper and recreated to maintain that effect on these facsimile documents.  Extensive use of Walt Disney's own handwriting (printing) throughout.
    These authorized facsimiles were created in 2005 exclusively for Disney
    and are unlikely to reproduced again any time soon.  To own the originals of these archival items would cost hundreds of dollars; but they are available at a fraction of the price through these authorized facsimile artifacts.  All items marked "Disney"
    Very good condition; as shown.  Stapled in upper left corner; suitable for framing and/or display
    An affordable means of collecting the historic treasures of the Walt Disney Studio.

    Saturday’s Toys and Disneyana Auctions
    was founded in 1994 by Southern California author and Disney historian, Dave Mason. Soon after eBay's launch the following year, Saturday's Toys was among the first Disneyana specialists to strategize in embracing this rapidly developing technology. Having delivered over 10,000 coveted Disney treasures since then, Saturday's Toys is pleased to partner with researchers, collectors and friends throughout the world with a shared interest in the preservation of authentic and accurate Disney history.
    Today, online offerings of archival Disneyana keepsakes are presented in celebration of the extended times that allow for family, friends and neighbors to join in memorable gatherings that nurture the strong connections that bind a community together. These treasures are affectionately known as "Saturday's Toys." In that light we present our adopted motto (with a tip of the cap to the Sherman Brothers):
    "Oh, let's go fly a kite!"
